Hannah Card
$1,000 scholarship
Lisbon High SchoolHannah exemplifies perseverance and integrity. She has overcome challenges and obstacles to be an incredible leader; at Lisbon High School she is not only valedictorian but is the president of Work2BeWell, a mental health club she co-founded, as well as president of National Honor Society and vice president of Key Club, both service-focused organizations. She completed over 225 volunteer hours during the 2024-25 school year, including at the national level through the Work2BeWell student advisory board and the peer-to-peer mental health textline Hey Sam. She even presented at the NASSP’s LEAD Conference in Chicago, IL this year with Work2BeWell. She is a hard worker, an advocate, and a changemaker.
Hannah will attend Bowdoin College in the fall, where she plans to study psychology.

Ashley Roy
$1,000 scholarship
Leavitt Area High SchoolAshley is a committed athlete and leader, serving as a captain for her soccer and Nordic skiing teams and as a four-year member of the track and field team. A competitive athlete, she is also a team player who cheers on and motivates others. She is also part of National Honor Society and the Unified Champions club. She spent over 90 hours helping to build a playground for children out of repurposed materials and has also helped with hiking trail cleanups and elementary sports, and has been called responsible, dependable, and sincere. She is a champion for children and wants to make sure all kids feel loved, supported, and have fun at school. Her compassionate leadership and love of education make her a great fit for this scholarship.
Ashley will attend the University of Maine at Farmington in the fall, where she plans to study elementary education.

Abbie Simpson
$1,000 scholarship
Leavitt Area High SchoolAbbie has made an impact on her school by serving as Key Club Vice President as well as a captain for indoor and outdoor track and field. She finds particular fulfillment in engaging with and serving the Auburn community, whether it be working with children at the PAL Center, providing gifts and weather packs for the homeless, or spending time with the elderly at Auburn Housing buildings. Abbie also works at the Auburn Rec, where she is able to make a positive impact on the lives of many children. She has overcome obstacles to show incredible determination and has put herself on a successful track, and wants to spend her career helping youth with injuries and intellectual disabilities. She has been described as loyal and compassionate.
Abbie will attend the University of Southern Maine in the fall, where she plans to study Health Science on a pre-professional track with hopes of continuing on to PA school.
